Surrounding them, I have illustrated a series of background images in Warli art style — a traditional tribal art form of Maharashtra, India. These background elements capture various aspects of daily routine activities that are integral to tribal life. Through fine, rhythmic white lines on a contrasting background, scenes of farming, collecting water, cooking, dancing, fishing, and animal herding are represented. Each element of the background serves not only as a visual narration of their lifestyle but also as a celebration of simplicity, sustainability, and togetherness.
